Audit Assistant Manager – Liverpool (BIG 4 Firm)

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Numero Recruitment are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity at Audit Assistant Manager level with a Big 4 firm in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity to progress your career within a structured and supportive environment whilst also working closely with some of the North West’s most renowned companies. To be considered for this role, you must be ambitious and have a desire to progress to Manager within 18-24 months.

You will work closely with range of corporates and will be responsible for delivering audit engagements from the planning stage through to completion.

The Role:

Working closely with senior management and partners to deliver audit services to a wide range of corporates across multiple industry sectors.
Co-ordinate and lead onsite fieldwork to ensure a smooth delivery of the audit process from planning stage through to completion.
Translating audit strategy into effective audit procedures.
Keeping clients and senior colleagues updated throughout the audit process.
Coaching and developing junior team members.
Produce detailed reports from audit finding and work closely with Directors and Partners to deliver client advice at completion meetings
Identifying and resolving issues quickly and efficiently

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA Qualified – An ideal role for newly qualified accountants that are hoping for career development.
Have good team working skills showing flexibility when faced with new challenges.
Be motivated to deliver high quality service to clients.
Have recent external audit experience and be comfortable with planning, controlling and completing audits.
Must be and European passport holder or have the right documentation to work in the UK (No sponsorship is available for this role).
Have excellent organisation skills.
