Senior Corporate Tax Advisor – Heathrow

Location: Heathrow

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Tax Jobs in London is currently working with one of the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firms that would like to appoint a Senior Corporate Tax Advisor in their Heathrow office. The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and provide an all-encompassing tax offering to our clients, including complex advisory work.

The Role:

Handle a complex client portfolio with limited day to day supervision
Manage/oversee all aspects relating to preparation of complex corporation tax computations and returns
Provide complex advisory services as required with adequate support, including but not limited to:-
- R&D,
- Patent Box,
- Transfer Pricing,
- Restructuring,
- Share Schemes
Specialist in certain areas of complex taxation
Review of tax accounting disclosures in company accounts (if applicable)
Tax audit review work/due diligence work as required (if applicable)
Assisting others in the tax team and the wider firm with any tax queries
Developing client relationships to become the first point of contact for client queries
Meeting new clients and helping to grow the tax service line
Review topical tax matters and advise to appropriate clients
Technical writing
Internal technical presentations
Deal with one off projects as they arise with adequate support
Ensuring good working capital management to include billing, Work In Progress and recoverability of debts
Attendance at in house meetings and external courses
Develop strong client relationships

Requirements:

An all-round tax background encompassing corporate
An ability to manage a complex portfolio effectively and meet client expectations
Team player able to develop good relationships with clients and within the firm
Ability to manage workload and time effectively
Self-motivation and positive attitude
Effective problem solver
Ability to use initiative to assist clients without direct support
Ability to review (and complete where necessary) complex corporate and/or personal tax returns
Ability to cope with pressure of meeting regular tight regulatory and other deadlines
Ability to prepare (and review where necessary) complex advisory work
Experience of attending, contributing to and leading client meeting
