Accounts Senior – Luton

Location: Luton

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Numero Recruitment have been engaged by an independent firm of accountants in Luton to recruit an Accounts Senior into their experienced team. Your client portfolio will consist of a wide range of clients to include limited companies and sole traders across a wide range of industry sectors.

The Role:

Annual turnovers will range from £250k to £20M.
Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
Completing quarterly vat returns.
Calculating accruals, prepayments, and year-end adjustments.
Completing tax returns for individuals.
Partnership tax returns.
You will be given the opportunity to assist on audits from time to time during busy periods.
Assisting and supporting junior members of the team.
Reviewing junior members work and providing feedback to management.
Attending client meetings, and acting as their point of contact within the firm for any queries.
Attending networking events to promote the firm.

Requirements:

Senior AAT or ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience;
Must have worked in a similar role within the UK during the past 18 months
Audit experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided;
Good communication skills is essential
