Audit & Accounts Senior – Kingston upon Thames

Location: Kingston upon Thames

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Numero Recruitment are currently working with a well respected firm of accountants in Kingston upon Thames that are keen to strengthen their team by recruiting and Audit & Accounts Senior. The firm have grown significantly over the past 12 months providing the opportunity to promote staff into more senior roles whilst also recruiting some excellent professional accountants externally.

The role will be split 50/50 between Audit & Accounts Preparation and you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of industry sectors and client sizes.

The Role:

Lead Audits from the planning stage, through to completion.
Prepare accounts to finalisation from incomplete records for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
Produce VAT returns for clients.
Prepare statutory year end and half yearly accounts.
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
Reporting KPIs and variances for clients and providing them with relevant advisory services.
Assist the Partner with their clients.

Requirements:

Qualified by experience, Part Qualified ACA or ACCA
Previous experience in a similar role within a public practice firm of accountants.
Have experience of using Excel Word and Sage
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and become an extension of their team.
