Audit & Accounts Senior – London

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Audit Jobs in London is currently working with an exceptional medium-sized independent firm of accountants in central London that would like to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior into their team. The firm has 15 partners and approximately 60 staff and is a member firm of a strong International network of accountants.

They work with a wide range of clients with specialist areas to include; FCA regulated entities, authors, barristers, media, property clients, not for profit and, increasingly, an international angle including offshore trusts.

The role is split approximately 60/40 between audit and non-audit assignments and you will report either to a manager or directly to a partner.

Ideally, the firm would like to recruit a newly qualified Senior into the audit & accounts team to work on a number of clients in different sectors and in return, the firm can guarantee further professional development and an environment that puts its employees and their career progression first.

Requirements:

All applicants must be ACA or ACCA qualified and have relevant experience in providing Audit & Accounting services to a wide range of external clients.
A working knowledge of CCH and Proaudit would be an advantage.
Experience or knowledge of the Mercia audit programme would also be helpful.
You must be up to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards, company law etc.
Have good tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax.
