Audit & Accounts Senior – Woodford Green, Essex

Location: Woodford Green, Essex

Salary: £43,000 - £47,500

Numero Recruitment are currently recruiting for and Audit & Accounts Senior to join a Top 100 Accountancy practice in Woodford Green, Essex. The firm offer a wide range of services to include, general accountancy, audit, consultancy and financial services and they serve both SMEs and large corporates across the UK.

The Role

Take responsibility for the planning, execution of audit assignments.
You will work both on-site at clients premises and also in the office.
Produce work for partner review, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to any issues identified.
Identify and understand client needs before providing a consultative approach to find solutions.
Communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with Partners.
Active engagement with clients to gain a good understanding of their business and ensure efficient execution of the audit.
Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget.
Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office.

Requirements:

All applicants must be CA qualified and have recent experience in a similar position within the UK,
Educated up to degree level
Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site
Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance.
Experience with listed clients, SME clients and auditing international groups.
Good Excel and modelling skills
Friendly outgoing person who is keen to learn and take on more responsibility as the practice grows
Knowledge of Xero accounting software preferred but is not essential
