Audit Assistant Manager – Manchester

Location: Manchester

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000

Numero Recruitment are actively recruiting for a newly qualified accountant to join a forward thinking firm of accountants in Manchester. The role will provide you with an opportunity to take over a client portfolio where you will provide a range of accounting services to companies working across a wide range of interesting market sectors.

Role:

Leading audit assignments across a wide range of industry sectors. 70% of role
Finalising client accounts, drafting tax computations and management accounting
Full responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments
Undertaking assigned tasks on client premises to agreed plan
Control of own assignment time within pre-determined budget
Professional liaison with client and/or client’s staff
Completion of work to the satisfaction of the Supervisor/Assistant Manager
Accounts finalisation, file completion and tax computations
Potential secondment opportunities

Requirements:

ACA or ACCA qualified
At least 3 years previous practice experience where you have provided Audit and general accounting services to clients
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
A highly professional appearance and attitude
