Insolvency Senior Administrator – Bristol

Location: Bristol

Salary: £37,500 - £45,000

Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Insolvency jobs Bristol are currently working with a UK specialist Insolvency & Advisory firm that are keen to strengthen their team with an Insolvency Senior Administrator in Bristol. You will be joining an experienced, dynamic and knowledgeable team, where you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of predominantly corporate insolvency cases.

The Role:

You will manage a portfolio of Insolvency cases consisting of:
Administrations
CVL’s
MVL’s
Compulsory Liquidations
Bankruptcies
CVA’s
Ensure statutory deadline are met whilst progressing cases in a timely manner
Attending site visits as required
Manage all cases using IPS
Completing pre and post-appointment tasks associated with insolvency procedures
Reviewing and preparing statutory reports (annual, progress and final)
Attend creditors meetings and liaise with creditors as and when required
Carry out case reviews and trouble-shooting on day-to-day matters as they arise
Carry out investigations of cases and identify antecedent transactions and claims
Liaising with all clients, creditors, stakeholders, staff and other third parties in a polite and professional manner
Instructing agents regarding asset disposals, monitoring debt collections and all other realisations as required
Agreeing creditor claims and dealing with employee queries and associated documentation.
Payment of dividends to creditors in a compliant and efficient manner, with regard to statutory deadlines
Ensure cases are progressed from commencement to closure in a commercial and balanced manner, whilst being fully compliant with statutory obligations
Assisting junior members of staff with their case work
Assisting with practice development by attending various networking events in the region

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience of managing corporate insolvency cases from inception through to closure
The CPI qualification would be beneficial but if not, the firm will support further CPI and JIEB study
Excellent report-writing and communication skills
Good time management skills and attention to detail
